Employment Pathways for Interns and Co-ops (EPIC) : Curious about interesting and impactful work? Perhaps gaining real world work experience? The EPIC program at IBM is designed to help you build your skills and familiarize you with IBM's organization and work style. It also provides you a chance to take IBM for a test drive! The IBM EPIC work experience will provide you with a competitive edge when you enter the workforce as a new graduate, and immerse you in a highly innovative environment filled with some of the brightest and smartest people in the world.

How do I qualify

In order to qualify for EPIC opportunities, candidates must be enrolled at a recognized University or College pursuing a certificate, diploma, bachelor and/or post graduate degree. IBM hires EPIC candidates for 4, 8, 12 and 16-month work terms, which start in January, May, or September. Visit your career centre to confirm your eligibility for the IBM EPIC program.

Future Blue

When you become an IBMer, you’ll have the opportunity to join and be a part of the Future Blue Program. Future Blue is a community for students, by students, at IBM Canada. The Future Blue Team plans social events, hosts career & development activities, case competitions, internal hackathons and programs at work and after hours to help enrich the student experience all the while providing resources and assistance to help students transition into their new roles.
