SECONDARY OFFICE ASSISTANT

The Secondary Office Assistant provides administrative support to the school. Assist administration, teaching staff, students and guardians on a daily basis, in the areas of reception, attendance and guidance.

Qualifications:

Required: Grade 12 diploma. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to work as a team member. Strong organizational and secretarial skills. MS Word skills at the Intermediate level. Advanced word-processing skills. Proficient in Excel. Proficient in PowerSchool and the reports generated within. Basic knowledge of Google Drive and associated applications (docs, sheets, slides)

Preferred: Knowledge of JDE, SchoolCash.net, EasyConnect and secondary school attendance procedures. Experience with MS Publisher and Advanced Excel. Secondary office experience and Basic First Aid would be an asset.
