The Burnaby School District is hiring casual summer labourers for summer 2024. Duties will include the maintenance of district landscapes -- including grass cutting and/or manual labour as well as operating various types of commercial landscaping equipment relevant to the work performed.

REQUIREMENTS

Currently a secondary or post-secondary student (and returning in September 2024 to full-time post-secondary education) .

Physically fit

Landscaping experience and use of commercial landscaping equipment is preferred

Clean and professional appearance

Reliable, punctual and dependable

Available to start work in April or May until the end of August 2024 This position pays $28.63/hour (to start) and works 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday. Hours of work are 07:00 15:30.
