Temporary & Probationary Full Time Positions

Canadian Rockies Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following teaching positions for the 2024-2025 school year:

Division I, II and III Temporary, Full Time

Division I, II and III Probationary, Full Time

Division IV (Humanities) Probationary, Full Time

The successful candidate will demonstrate the attributes of the Alberta Teaching Quality Standard.

In particular:

Training in and experience working with students and curriculum in the applicable division.

Excellent communication skills.

In-depth understanding of literacy and numeracy development.

Ability to differentiate curriculum for all learners.

Ability to use performance assessment.

Ability to apply outcome-based student assessment and evaluation practices.

Excellent behaviour management skills.

Knowledge of current educational research and issues.

Excellent oral and written English.

High energy, a positive attitude and flexibility.

Experience in working as a member of a professional learning network.

Ability to work collaboratively and co-teach.

Understands and applies principles of the Teaching Effectiveness Framework.

Demonstrates skills of a child-centred Educator who embodies the Mission, Vision and Beliefs of the division.

Experience teaching in a combined class would be considered an asset.

Demonstrated ability to effectively integrate technology to enhance the learning opportunities of students would be an asset.

Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate.

Start Date: August 22, 2024

End Date: June 30, 2025
