Temporary: Immediately May 31, 2024 or full return of the incumbent

NOTE: This assignment may end prior to the end date or it may be extended.

Qualifications BC Certification

Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent

Undergraduate degree with a major or minor in Physical Education preferred

Previous successful experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary level is preferred

Demonstrated current knowledge of the renewed curriculum for the above subjects, including the learning outcomes and appropriate resources

Demonstrated ability to implement a spectrum of innovative and engaging instructional practices

Demonstrated ability to use a variety of instructional and assessment strategies is essential

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills
