Teachers Teaching On Call

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).

-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.

-Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.

Teachers Teaching On Call - Grades K-12

2024-2025 School Year

School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay) is seeking BC-certified teachers to work as Teachers Teaching On Call in the communities of Elkford, Sparwood, Fernie, Jaffray and Cranbrook, starting September 3, 2024. Priority consideration will be given to those who apply by April 30,2024.

Teachers with formal training/experience at the Elementary level in French Immersion and Student Services will be given special consideration.

Teachers with formal training/experience in Secondary Math/Science/Industrial Education/French Immersion and Student Services will be given special consideration.

Salary: The current daily rate for this casual TTOC position ranges from $310.09 to $475.93, with placement on the grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.*Please apply for this job only in the manner specified by the employer, otherwise your application will not be considered for the position.
