FTE/HRS & Assignment:

1.0 FTE, Limited Teacher General Support Teacher for Grades 6, 7 & 8

2 positions Start Date: May 1st, 2024 End Date: June 28, 2024

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain a Manitoba Teaching Certificate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience and/or education in student services (e.g. Special Education Teaching Certificate) will be considered an asset

Experience developing and implementing student plans (e.g. IEPs, Student Specific Plans, BIPs, URIS) will be considered an asset

Knowledge of best practices in curriculum, instruction and assessment

Knowledge of Indigenous Perspectives

Middle years education experience an asset

Excellent organizational and classroom management skills

Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, students, parents and outside agencies, as demonstrated through written and verbal skills
