EIPS is recruiting a part-time (0.527 FTE) Kindergarten Teacher at Win Ferguson Elementary.

Win Ferguson Elementary serves approximately 410 students in kindergarten to Grade 6, with 20 teaching staff and 16 support staff. The school is located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, approximately 20 kilometres north of Sherwood Park, AB.

Kindergarten Schedule A (Mondays, Wednesdays and select Fridays)

Open to internal and external applicants, priority will be given to EIPS teachers who hold a continuous contract Qualifications: Bachelor of Education degree

Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Effective organization and classroom management skills

Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged

Preferred experience in implementing play-based learning approaches in early childhood settings.

Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.

Plan and facilitate play-based learning experiences that align with curriculum standards.

Excellent verbal and written skills

Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice

Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
