Evergreen Catholic Separate School Division is currently seeking a dynamic leader with a proven record of success to be a school-based principal. The initial assignment would be in the Town of Hinton, Alberta. The position commences on August 26, 2024.
The Division
Evergreen Catholic Separate School Division is comprised of ten schools in the communities of Devon, Hinton, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Westlock. The Division has approximately 4000 students in junior kindergarten to Grade 12 programs. We are a Catholic faith community committed to serving each individual child in an atmosphere of faith, hope, and love through our mission of Ever Growing, Learning, and Living in Christ.
Job Details
The assistant principal will support the school principal in all aspects of the school, by building positive and proactive relationships and empowering staff, students, volunteers, and community members. Building teacher efficacy and strong pedagogical understanding have become the driving force behind educational initiatives in Alberta's education system. In addition to being innovative and visionary leaders, candidates must have a passion for educational excellence and a proven track record of exemplary performance in the following areas: student learning and achievement

to submit a detailed curriculum vitae outlining qualifications, three
professional references and a current pastoral reference. Applicants must possess a permanent Alberta
Teaching Certificate and it would be an asset if applicants hold a Leadership
Quality Standard (LQS) Certificate.
