StrongStart Facilitator - On Call
Position Summary: The StrongStart Facilitator is responsible for the day to day operation of the StrongStart Centres within our District. This position is responsible for promoting the StrongStart Centre in the community, planning and implementing daily activities for parents and children in attendance at the centre and entering registration and tracking attendance. The StrongStart Facilitator will:
work effectively with a variety of parents, children, professionals and community mentors;
maintain accurate records;
be flexible with work hours;
create, plan, implement and budget for parent participation early learning program;
be required to deal with challenging behaviour issues;
attend all early learning professional development activities;
have strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills;
possess knowledge and experience with computers and the internet;
possess a Class 5 Driver's Licence;
have/or complete MyEd Level 1 TrainingStrongStart Facilitator
applicants must have completed Grade 12 and possess a certificate, preferable a diploma in Early childhood Education;
must possess a current Community Care Facilities Branch BC License to Practice;
must possess a valid Child Safe First Aid Certificate;
must possess or acquire Food Safe Certification
