Religion Teacher - Wellington, New Zealand

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Religion Teacher for a secondary school in Wellington, New Zealand. The role will involve teaching to grades 9 - 12. The position is a full-time role and will be offered as a fixed-term contract.

The ideal Religious Studies teacher is one who utilizes differentiated instruction and works towards making all lessons engaging and interactive. Lessons should be catered to meet the needs of all students and ensure that students are diving into inquiry-based learning, where their current perceptions of religious studies are consistently challenged and rewarded. This school is an independent secondary school and is easily accessible using public transport.
