Medicine Hat Public School Division Groundskeeper Landscape Gardener Part-time Seasonal: May September This position requires knowledge of landscaping practices. Duties involve the planting and maintenance of shrubs and flower beds including pruning, planting, weeding and removal of debris at the Medicine Hat College. This is a part-time seasonal position working 25-35 hours per week between May and mid to end of September.Preference will be given to applicants with:Knowledge of landscaping techniques, including maintenance of shrub and flower beds.Knowledge of safe work practices.Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.A high school diploma or equivalent.Successful applicants will be required to have a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record. A Police Information Check and a Driver's Abstract will be required prior to the start of employment.This role involves a lot of physical exertion, such as lifting heavy plants or pots, bending, and digging, and takes place outdoors in various weather conditions.
