Instructions for Retired OCDSB Principals and Vice-Principals 1. To apply, you must have an applicant account (eg. previously created to input your absences as an employee) with ApplyToEducation.com and use your existing username and password. This account will be used to receive daily casual P/VP assignments, accept work, process the electronic timesheet, and enter your availability in EasyConnect. 2. After you log into your applicant account, complete the Personal Information page, search for this job (under keywords, enter 1353832), answer the questions in the posting, and click the Apply button. This process is online and free of charge. The applicant account allows you to amend your contact information and availability in real time (eg. away on vacation or no longer available due to reaching the TPP 50 day maximum). You can also verify assignments worked and view electronic timesheets through the online postings archive.3. By applying to this posting, you are expressing an interest in being placed on the applicable Principal/Vice-Principal casual list. a. A minimum of five (5) years experience as a Principal and/or Vice-Principal

b. Be in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers with qualifications in both PQP

Part 1 and 2

c. Experience as an Ontario Principal and/or VP preferred Experienced Principals may be considered for both the casual Principal and Vice-Principal lists (see #2 for further information); experienced Vice-Principals will only be considered for the Vice-Principal casual list.

Please note that successful Principal applicants will be placed on the casual Vice-Principal list

until at least 30 days are completed. This will allow sufficient time to familiarise yourself with

OCDSB Policies, Procedures and systems prior to accepting casual Principal assignments.
