We are now accepting applications for: Casual Office Support List

$16.55 per hour (plus 4% in lieu of vacation)

Casuals may be called to replace absence staff, to assist during peak periods throughout the school year, or help with special projects. Assignments can last anywhere from 1 day to several weeks or months, depending on the need.Casuals may also be needed to support different administrative functions, including Finance, Payroll, Facilities, Human Resources. We are currently in need of Casuals to support the Elementary and Secondary Schools in the main office. Typical tasks include front reception duties, assisting with safe arrivals, student and/or staff attendance support, and data entry. This is your opportunity to get your foot in the door. As a casual employee, you will have the opportunity to apply and be considered for positions posted internally.

Qualifications

Flexibility to accept assignments on an as-needed basis (sometimes on short notice) throughout the school year.

available during the day - full or half-days (Monday to Friday)

Office administration skills and experience, or experience working in a school environment.

Professional training/diploma (ex. Finance, Payroll, and Human Resources) is an asset.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to use Google applications (including email, docs, sheets, etc).
