Position : 0.5 Indigenous Policy and Curriculum DeveloperLocation: Centrally assignedRequired teaching qualifications: A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate

A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers

Primary, Junior, Intermediate or Senior Qualifications

First Nations, Mtis, Inuit Studies Advanced Qualifications and/or lived experience are considered an asset. Position Criteria: Knowledge and/or experience with Indigenous culture, history, ceremonies, governance, policies and procedures

Knowledge of/experience with writing and/or instructing Indigenous curriculum, culture and/or policies

Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents

Demonstrate experience of working with Indigenous Language and Culture

Demonstrate comfort and agility with technology

Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on culturally relevant and responsive pedagogy

Ability to work as part of a school/central team and to communicate effectively
