DCDSB invites qualified Educational Assistants (EA) to apply for casual EA employment opportunities.Applicants require the following qualifications:

Two or three year diploma from a recognized Community College in an area related to Special Education or a Bachelor or Arts degree.

Ability to work with children inclusing a wide variety of students with Special Needs.

Support the Gospel values and philosophy of Inclusion

Three to Six months previous related experience and/or job placement.

Preferred but not required qualifications include:

UMAB and/or CPI and/or NVCI qualification

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Autism Behaviour (ABA)

Assistive Technology Software

Augmentative Communication

Safe Back Care or Lifting Ambulation
