ASSIGNMENT: Primary. this is a co-teaching position to support student needs. This co-teaching may be in a variety of classes and grades.

FTE: 0.4LOCATION: Voyageur Elementary School

EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing April 15, 2024 until June 30, 2024

Basic Qualifications : A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following:

Training Specialization: Elementary Education with specialization at the Primary level

Related Teaching Experience : Recent successful experience teaching at the Primary level

Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.

Other: Willingness to work as part of the School-based team to implement plans for the success of all students

Willingness to support the school plan for student successThe starting annual salary for this part-time temporary Teacher ranges from $59,394 to $106,217 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
