School District No. 48 is currently looking for on-call Education

Assistants to join the team!

Duties & Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Principal(s) and the general

supervision of the Classroom Teacher(s), provides assistance to students who

have physical disabilities, chronic health impairments, intellectual

disabilities and/or social, emotional and behavioural problems as designated by

the Director of Instruction, while supporting the achievement of stated

programs goals and objectives.

Qualifications: Completion of Grade 12 plus

a special program and over six (6) months up to and including one (1)

years related experience. A special program would be the

Capilano University Education Assistant Program.

Valid

Class 5 B.C. Drivers License.

Knowledge of basic First

Aid.

Basic knowledge of related

learning tools (ie. computers, etc).PLEASE NOTE : For your
