TABER CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Regular Pre-Kindergarten Early Learning Educator - Approx 17 hours/week Monday-Thursday 8am-12:15pm

Taber Central School is seeking an Early Learning Educator commencing the 2024-2025 school year. This school supports a diverse community of learners in the heart of Taber with a student population of about 225 students and a staff of 24.

We are currently searching for a new educational assistant to join our team. Central School runs two early learning programs; a Monday/Wednesday morning program and a Tuesday/Thursday morning program. Children aged 2 years 8months through 4 years 11 months attend Early Learning. Experience working with young children and education/training specific this age group will be considered an asset; such as Early Childhood Education level 3 certification. Other areas of training or experience would include working with speech and language delays, english as additional language learners, children with complex needs and play-based learning. An understanding of inclusion and supports for diverse learners would be seen as a strength.
