With a staff of 14,000, the Toronto Catholic is a dynamic school board and is seeking a full time System Analyst, SAP ERP Support. TCDSB is in the process of migrating from current ECC 6.0 landscape to S/4 HANA. Applicants are expected to have strong functional knowledge in Finance and will contribute to migration project activities, supporting the current and future systems.

CRITERIA FOR INTERVIEW: Degree or diploma in computer science, information technology, management information systems, computer engineering, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of two (2) years of experience with SAP landscape implementation, configuration and functional level operational support

Strong Knowledge of SAP FI/CO and related Finance modules

Knowledge of integration of various modules and applications in SAP

Solid experience and knowledge of ABAP programming language and debugging techniques an asset

Experience with customized SAP ECC and S4/HANA landscapes

SAP certification is an asset

Demonstrated ability of analyzing complex problems and proposing effective solutions

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders in both technical and non-technical terms

Ability to self-organize, time management, and prioritize work assignments and tasks with a keen attention to detail

Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as with teams, staying organized, managing time effectively, and results oriented

Availability to work outside core office hours, as required MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to and under the direction of the Senior Manager, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System, the primary function of this position to effectively problem solve administer and implement the Boards SAP ERP and related solutions. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Maintaining ABAP programs, custom reports, interfaces and forms to meet business requirements

Maintaining, supporting and enhancing various functional and technical aspects of the SAP environment including solution configuration, troubleshooting and operational support

Collaborating with business stakeholders and conduct business requirements gathering and analysis to create and enable innovative solutions that effectively meet business needs

Facilitating software change requests to meet business process change requirements in conjunction with various departments

Researching issues, diagnosing, providing recommendations, and implementing acceptable solutions

Monitoring and responding to tickets escalated from the ICT Service Desk

Meeting with the Senior Manager, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System to set and monitor goals and review status on projects and tasks

Responding to major issues and critical incidents including system outages and security

Available after-hours as needed to carry out changes as well as emergency response to mission critical and major incidents

Maintaining documentation on system design, architecture, security, processes, and procedures #TCDSBcareers
