2024/25 INTERNAL/EXTERNAL POSTING

Part-Time Kitchen Assistant St. James Catholic School is located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. The school enrolls approximately 160 students from Kindergarten to Grade Seven. For the 2024 - 2025 school year, we are seeking a skilled, qualified candidate to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant, working 5 hours per day/ 5 days per week, commencing September 1, 2024.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess: active membership in a Catholic parish

commitment to excellence in Catholic education

prior food service experience

experience planning well-balanced meals with creativity and variety

the ability to be flexible when faced with ever-shifting needs

a genuine sense of joy in being around others

experience working with students as well as adults in a diverseand dynamic environment
