LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER

Fulltime (1.0 FTE) Term position

West Vancouver Secondary School*

Effective September 3, 2024 until June 30, 2025The annual salary for a full-time teaching position ranges from $50,000 to $104,000, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. The salary will be prorated based on FTE. Required Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and experience: Masters or Diploma in Special Education

Current knowledge and experience working with students with both high and low incidence disabilities

Current knowledge and experience writing IEPs, developing appropriate programming for students with special needs and conducting school based team meetings

Additional qualifications as per Special Education Services: a Manual of Policies, Procedures and Guidelines

Certificate of Qualification from the Teacher Regulation Branch

*This District LST position will be assigned to West Vancouver Secondary School; however, LST positions are district-based positions and the location may be changed subject to operational and student needs.
