Reporting directly to the Coordinator of Curriculum, this position involves assisting in the development and implementation of technology curriculum, offering guidance on assessment strategies, and providing end-user help desk support for the Student Information System (SIS) within the South East Cornerstone School Division.

1.0 FTE Continuing with coaching duties commencing at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year for a two (2) year term.Duties:
Without restricting the generality of the description above, the Instructional Coach - Assessment & Student Information Systems shall perform such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned, including but not restricted to the following: Provide classroom technology support and guidance on assessment strategies
Liaise with the division information systems team to address software-related issues
Assist in determining in-service requirements, planning in-services, and scoping, scheduling, and implementing curriculum-related support
Support school SIS & Edsby updates, fixes, and resolve software issues
Work directly with schools to ensure consistency of data across the division
Develop and maintain training materials for both technology and SIS
Attend SIS training sessions as required
Represent the school division at user and focus group meetings
Work with all stakeholders, including in-house technical support, regarding the Student Information System, education technology software, and Edsby
Input, edit, proofread, and finalize various documents, correspondence, reports, and statements
Be knowledgeable about and supportive of administrative procedures and directives as defined by the school division
Conduct oneself in a manner appropriate to an educational institution that provides services to children
Engage in lifelong learning with respect to training, in-services, and courses of study
Perform other duties as may be required or assigned by the Coordinator of Curriculum or the Deputy Director of Education
Required Education, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor of Education Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
Saskatchewan Professional "A" Teaching Certificate
Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience
A Master's Degree in a related instructional area would be considered an asset
Knowledge of the Ministry of Learning core curriculum initiatives
Knowledge of Technology applications for classroom uses
Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies.
Thorough understanding of platforms such as Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Edsby, MySchoolSask, Microsoft Office software.
Experience with Technology strategies for classroom application
Knowledge of appropriate instructional materials for classroom use
Experience working independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies
A current and valid drivers license as there will be extensive travel throughout the school divisionSalary & Benefits:
