What we do

At Enterprise Holdings, you can GO anywhere.

A family-owned, world-class portfolio of brands. A global network that spans across more than 85 countries. Some 97,000 dedicated team members sharing common values. And more than 1.9 million vehicles taking our customers wherever they need to go.

Anyway you measure it, we've become a leader in the transportation service industry. How did we get here? By taking care of our customers, our communities, and our employees—and staying true to our mission.

As the parent company of Alamo Rent A Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and National Car Rental, we at Enterprise Holdings have earned a reputation as a great place to work. And, with continued growth across Canada—there’s no shortage of opportunity.

Our first Canadian branch opened more than 20 years ago with just four employees. Today, Enterprise Holdings is the largest car rental company in Canada with over 5,200 employees in more than 750 established locations.

What others are saying about us

We’re committed to both our customers and our employees. And people have noticed. Here’s the proof:

• Multi-year award recipient of the “50 Best Employers in Canada” by the Globe and Mail, Report on Business Magazine
• Named a Top 25 Employer in Quebec
• Named a Top 10 Employer in the National Capital Region (Ottawa)
• Named a “Greater Toronto Area Top Employer” by the Globe and Mail

Management training program

Our future leaders start in our Management Training Program, which is where our current president and CEO Pam Nicholson got her start. As a management trainee, your learning will be hands-on. You'll take care of customers, connect with your community, live our values, and learn what goes into managing a multimillion-dollar business. That's just the beginning of what you can do at Enterprise.

The more you put into the Management Training program, the more you'll get out of it. We promote from within based on performance, not seniority.

As a management trainee, you are the future of Enterprise. You'll be given real responsibility and be expected to own it. We'll empower you to experience, explore, and thrive. Our promote-from-within culture means you can have many unique careers all within one company, with support and training every step of the way—you just need to take the leap.

Management internship program

As a management intern, you’ll hit the ground running. You’ll take on many of the same tasks as our management trainees, learning what it takes to run a successful business, and honing your entrepreneurial skills.

In this paid internship, we’ll put you in the middle of everything as you develop the skills to manage a fleet of hundreds of late-model vehicles. We’ll teach you how to take care of our customers by actually working with them, you’ll learn to develop marketing strategies, and you’ll practice building business-to-business relationships.

We’re looking for ambitious, customer-focused, adaptable, and fun-loving students. Why? Because that’s what working at Enterprise is all about. This internship will be more than just a line on your resumé: it’ll help you stand out from the crowd.
