Interested in working in our PMO practice?

As a student joining the Project Management Office team, you will work closely with the PMO Manager, but providing coordination and governance support to Project Managers during project execution, and ensure the successful adherence to PMO Processes, Procedures, and Guidelines. As a student on the valuations team, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Support Project Managers by preparing documentation such as Project Charters, Project Schedules, Training Plans, User Documentation, Communication Plans, various reports and presentations
  • Work with project teams to build, track and maintain project plans and schedules
  • Ensure that the Project Management Framework (PMF) and SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) are followed as per the PMO guidelines
  • Liaise and coordinate with business teams, development leads, technology project teams and other areas of the organization
  • Assists Project Managers by tracking meeting minutes, risks, issues, change requests and key decisions made throughout assigned projects
  • Able to maintain and track schedules and progress of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed through each stage of the projects development and execution
  • Provide on-going support to the PMO with assistance in portfolio and project level reporting  

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree or post-secondary program preferably in Business Administration, Project Management
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to handle ambiguous assignments and deal with changing priorities
  • Self-starter and strong multi-tasking capabilities with prove experience in identifying and balancing priorities
  • Basic understanding of Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) principles and methodologies an asset
