Job Title: Business Development Representative – REF# CTH-SM
Location: Downtown Toronto
Start Rate: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour

The Career Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that receives funding from the government, private sector companies, and individual donors. Our mission is to link the resources of private sector companies, education, and government to help all members of the community make the transition into employment.

The Career Foundation offers services at no cost to job seekers in order to help them reach their employment goals. Our services, which are available at no cost to you, include workshops, individual coaching, training opportunities, and more. Participation in these services may be suggested to applicants in order to improve their likelihood of employment success.

Our client, a content marketing platform, is seeking a full-time Business Development Representative to perform a variety of personnel-related business development and management tasks. The Business Development Representative position requires positive energy, creativity, confidence and intelligence that will stop at nothing to be successful. If you are passionate about content marketing, management and optimization then this position is for you!

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research inbound buyers, identify potential outbound buyers and reach out through a mixture of phone calling, personalized email campaigns & social networking.
  • Validate buyer fit and interest level.
  • Generate a strong pipeline of inbound and outbound leads while working closely with Account Executives.
  • Achieve monthly opportunity quota set by management.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with target accounts and qualified leads on-site (local) and conference calls (international).
  • Understand the company’s diverse value proposition and sales pitch in order to effectively attract qualified buyers.
  • Provide ongoing market feedback reports and ways to refine positioning and outbound strategies.
  • Profile and engage with target accounts.
  • Keep management informed by maintaining accurate and thorough records within Salesforce.com.
  • Weekly reporting on challenges, successes, and progress against plan.

Qualifications:

  • Education and/or training in business and related field.
  • Excited/interested in SaaS and Cloud Computing.
  • Fascinated by marketing tools, trends and marketing automation software.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with sales enablement tools like Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, Outreach.io, Datanyze, Front and others is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; solution focussed.
