Proposal Support Professionals are members of IBM's Strategic Deal Squads, providing Document Management Support for Federal and French Language deals.As Document Management experts, Proposal Support Professionals provide essential knowledge, support, and teaming to help deal squads and sales professionals through the proposal management process.

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and integrate content into proposals and other client deliverables
  • Manage all versions of the proposal response
  • Perform all document formatting
  • Cross skilled in document control and basic design skills (PPT templates)
  • Respond directly to the customer through the mandated web-based tools and e-mail
  • Document bids and responses via web-based tools, such as BOX
  • Assist in communicating proposal updates and addendums to the appropriate teams
  • Influence seller satisfaction through timely and complete responses to inquiries, and pro-active problem resolutions.
  • Maintain awareness of requests, processing activities and initiate communications regarding problems and solutions to appropriate IBM contact points.
  • Upload completed documents directly to the customer repositories as required by clients
