The District Manager, Loss Prevention is responsible for the management and oversight of all loss prevention and security matters within a designated area.

Benchmark best practice controls to ensure Indigo is effectively minimizing shrink in all areas of retail operation
Identify opportunities and provide analysis on areas within the organization adversely effecting internal and external loss relative to product and physical assets
Implementation of loss prevention training programs and procedures; including the delivery of appropriate educational programs, workshops, seminars and training sessions
Conduct store audits (field compliance, cycle counting, SBT) and follow-up in a timely manner
Ensure strong field presence is maintained through communication and travel to stores
Act as a subject-matter expert with respect to key departmentally-managed systems (CCTV, EAS, locking systems, safes, fire protection and alarm systems), as well as software used to manage security systems and monitor dishonest activity
Install and operate investigative security systems (covert cameras etc.)
Conduct theft/fraud investigations and interviews by following investigation and interview protocols and directives
Work with local law enforcement agencies and other retail security personnel
Monitor the procedures and actions of security suppliers/vendors who provide services to store in the district
Supervise or participate in special events in district that require security consideration
Represent loss prevention interests with store renovations or new store projects
Develop proactive loss prevention training programs and procedures used to reduce shrink and adhere to company directives. This includes the delivery of appropriate educational programs, workshops, training sessions and submissions for the LP intranet site
Ensure the completion of team deliverables and set/adhere to team budgets, as applicable
Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision-making processes
Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs
Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigos customers
Challenge the status quo and consistently identify areas for improvement, diagnose issues and working to resolve them


Minimum of 3 years of multi-unit loss prevention experience at the supervisory level Travel between stores within district required on a regular/daily basis Occasional travel to corporate offices required
