Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance, you will work with a highly skilled cross-functional team targeted for the Wealth Management and Corporate Banking verticals. You will work towards defining, differentiating and bringing to market new cloud-based products. You are a passionate leader, who is excited about bringing products to market that effectively deliver on client expectations and improve client outcomes.

We're looking for someone who ideally has experience in:

  • You are ready to roll up your sleeves and able to manage multiple tasks at a time.
  • You have a methodical, deliberate and analytic mindset coupled with enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • You are ready to grind out the various technical problems which will be encountered and will be proactive at doing research when solutions are not readily available.
  • You have experience with Software Development Life Cycles and Quality Assurance concepts, metrics, methodologies and documentation standards.
  • You have exposure to and an understanding of an Agile SCRUM environment.
  • You are comfortable looking at code and reading server logs to troubleshoot issues.
  • You have knowledge of Application Servers (ex: JBoss/WebSphere).
  • You have knowledge of Web Servers Internet Information Services(IIS) & IBM HTTP Server(IHS)
  • You have knowledge of relational database technologies such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle and the have the ability to write SQL queries.
  • You have knowledge of Eclipse IDE.
  • You have knowledge of Build Automation Tools - Apache ANT
  • You have experience using Version Control Systems.
  • You have experience using JIRA
  • You have familiarity with scripting languages such as Java and Scheme.
  • You have outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • You have a Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Working in a SCRUM team conducting tests on new features and issues
  • Working closely with Product Management and Developers to validate fixes and updates
  • Creating test data, tools and environments as required to support testing
  • Creating test plans, test cases and scripts for product releases based on designs
  • Conducting regression tests on features, fixes and resolved issues
  • Documenting test results and tracking issues found
  • Performing deployments and working with various types of application servers and databases
